The Forum's pages cover the latest findings of cognitive psychology on attention span and their practical implications for teaching. They talk about seeing the relevance of Dante, Shakespeare and Milton to the lives of today's more gender-aware and ethnically diverse students. They are open to a variety of faculty viewpoints, each of which offers the gift of insight to colleagues both in this country and abroad.

The Teaching Professor offers useful information and inspiration to help faculty members in all disciplines teach more effectively. Each issue features summaries and commentary on the latest pedagogical research as well as first-person articles about implementing various teaching strategies.
