Please read the University Registrar's September 27, 2001 Memorandum on the New ECR System. Electronic Class Rolls (ECR) are available to assist instructors in course management in several ways:  instructors may download the class roster in an Excel file format for calculation of student grades, may send an email to a single student in the class, or send a message all students enrolled. Instructors may access information for students enrolled in their classes for the current term, the prior term, as well as preregistration rolls for upcoming term. The new ECR system is available only to instructors of record on campus who have an ONYEN and are currently listed in the instructor database. To access information in the new ECR system, instructors should enter their ONYENs and passwords, rather than last name and PID required by the old system. Downloaded ECRs may be imported into CTL's grading templates.  CTL's grading templates are provided in Excel file format and may be modified to fit your grading scheme.  Please contact Iola Peed-Neal (966-1289) at the Center for Teaching and Learning for more information. Instructors are restricted to the class rolls of their department. Instructors who teach outside of their departents or teach in special programs should contact the Student Information System Coordinator, Gary Lloyd, at 962-4750, to be granted access to their class rolls.
